Tips to improve your language awareness in English

If you have been offered a place on a University of Cambridge CELTA course and would like to prepare for it, you have come to the right place!

On this site we aim to provide some basic language awareness preparation.
The CELTA course is very intensive and will focus on techniques and strategies for teaching English to speakers of other languages.

Of course, if you are going to teach English, you will also need to know enough about the language itself. Whilst the CELTA course does include a unit on language analysis and awareness, most tutors agree that the more you prepare before the course, the better!
